Our first TCS Women meeting will be part of STOC 2018 TheoryFest: 50th Annual ACM Symposium on the Theory of Computing organized by Sofya Rashondnikova (Boston University), Barna Saha (University of Massachusetts Amherst) and Virginia Vassilevska Williams (MIT).
There will be a panel of distinguished women researchers in the field of TCS, women lunch and a research rump session.
Due to generous sponsorship of Google, Microsoft and NSF, TCS Women will also be providing travel scholarships to women researchers to attend STOC TheoryFest. All women researchers especially those in their early years (1st and 2nd year of graduate studies) of career without available travel funding are encouraged to apply. It is not required to have paper in STOC in order to be eligible for funding. Those who will be selected for funding are encouraged to present a poster in one of the poster sessions of STOC.
